The main attractions of the city and distances.

Cádiz has 4 beaches. A good option to visit all of them is by bike and thus enjoy the bike lane that runs along the city's promenade.

La Caleta Beach

The closest to the apartments and the most well-known for being next to the Historic Center of the city is La Caleta Beach. With 450 meters, it is one of the busiest. Distance from the apartments is approximately 1 km, easily reachable in 10 minutes.

Victoria Beach

The largest and the one with the most services, 2.5 km of sand. It is about 4 km away, and by car, it takes about 15 minutes.

Cortadura Beach

Cortadura Beach is a 20-minute drive away. Located at the entrance to Cádiz, along the road connecting Cádiz with San Fernando. It is the only natural beach in the capital.

Santa María del Mar Beach

Santa Maria del Mar beach is a 30-minute walk or 10-minute drive away. Located outside the city walls next to the Paseo Marítimo, it is also known as ‘la playita de las mujeres’ (the women's beach) and is highly recommended on days when the east wind blows, as it is protected by two breakwaters.

The Cathedral

It is 1 km from the apartments and can be reached with a 10-12 minute walk. Located in the historic center of the city, almost on the edge of the sea.

Tavira Tower

Located 650 meters away, an 8-minute walk. It is the highest point of the Old Town and one of the most famous views of the city, with a pioneering attraction, the Camera Obscura.

Central Market of Supplies

At 750 meters, a 9-minute walk. Shopping carts and cameras coexist in harmony, a place to buy the freshest products in the area while visiting a beautiful monument.

Santa Catalina Castle

At 1.2 km and a 15-minute walk from Horozco Street. Fortress that closes La Caleta Beach. A Cultural Interest since 1985.

San Sebastian Castle

Located 2 km away, you arrive on a 20/25 minute walk from the apartments. Fortress located at one end of La Caleta Beach, on a small islet that was a Phoenician temple and Hermitage, currently is an exhibition and concert center.

Maritime Promenade

About 4 km away, by car it takes 12 minutes, while if you want to enjoy the walk it takes 50 minutes.

Town Hall Square or San Juan de Dios

Located 1 km away, about 10 minutes walking. In the square, buildings such as the Town Hall, the Church of San Juan de Dios, and the House of Pazos Miranda stand out.

Barrio del Populo

At 800 meters, or 10 minutes walking. It is said to be the oldest neighborhood in Europe, exudes history and is currently one of the most attractive areas of the city. It preserves vestiges of Cadiz's history, from Phoenician, Roman, and medieval Cadiz.

Teatro Falla

Just 600 meters from the most well-known theater, especially during Carnival, you can walk there in 7/8 minutes. Built with red bricks and in Mudéjar style, it is one of the emblems of the city.

Parque Genovés

At 750 meters, about 7/8 minutes walking. It is the widest green area in the old town of the city and one of the most beautiful parks. It is a real botanical garden with La Gruta as the emblem of the park.
